Augmented reality effects for social media platforms, including both personal and client-driven AR experiences. Social AR lets users create and share interactive AR experiences, like face filters, for entertainment, creative expression, marketing, and engagement on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and TikTok.
Since 2020, I have had the privilege of collaborating with Full Measure Education, a dynamic company that specializes in delivering personalized mobile experiences to more than 500 educational institutions. Together, we have crafted a myriad of innovative and captivating augmented reality experiences, catering to the needs of numerous schools and universities worldwide.
We designed and created custom augmented reality templates to enhance graduation experiences and acceptance letters for universities. These templates were customized to align with the colors and branding of each institution. Our objective was to enhance the experience of graduates and students by offering a unique and personalized approach to celebrating their academic achievements and fostering engagement with the educational institution.

Face Effect with 3D animations, music and person segmentation that reacts when the user opens their mouth. Textures, colors and banners can be modified within the effect by touching the different assets.
Face effect that reacts when the user opens their mouth showing balloons or confetti depending the platform. It can also be modified to include a baseball cap or a background behind the user.
Face Effect that includes a 3D welding helmet, which can be put on or taken off by moving the head.
World effect with person segmentation and a particle system that adapts to the movement of the device.

I've been working as a Freelancer in this role since 2019, counting with an extensive experience in Meta Spark AR (for creating effects on Instagram and Facebook), Lens Studio (for creating Lenses on Snapchat), and Effect House (for creating effects on TikTok). I've had the pleasure of being a Beta user for both Meta Spark AR and Effect House since their early releases.
Additionally, I'm a Video Game Development student at the Universidad Abierta Interamericana, which gives me extensive knowledge in creating AR apps and games with Unity, and programming skills with JavaScript and C#. I also have proficiency in WebAR, as well as in 3D design and modeling using Blender.
I always like to try to innovate in the creation of my AR experiences, trying to get the most out of each platform and its features.
